How to Play

Play Heli Battle online for free. Heli Battle is a simple flying dogfight game inspired by the Nintendo hit classic Balloon Fight. Avoid crashing into the ceiling or ground & take out your opponent by crashing into them from above or shooting them out of the sky. First player to 10 points wins. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Press the play button in the bottom center of the welcome screen to play the game tutorial and start playing the game.
Left of the play button is a settings button for controlling game sound and music.
The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a full screen mode button.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Press the mouse left click or spacebar to ascend.
  - Release the mouse left click or spacebar to descend.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap the screen with a finger to ascend.
    - Release to descend.
    - Controls & indicators
      - Your score is in the red box top center.
      - Your opponent’s score is in the blue box top center.
      - Near the scores are indicators of how much ammo either player has equipped.
      - The game has a pause button in the upper right corner which also enables you to control game sound and music settings.
      - Game Play
        Flying
        You automatically fly right while your opponent automatically flies left. The only aspect you control is your elevation & angle through when you decide to ascend or descend.
        When you fly you must avoid running into the top of the screen or the ground. Hitting either will cause you to crash, awarding a point to your opponent.
        Try to avoid flying on a similar flight path as your opponent. If you are close and can not easily evade them then make sure you are vertically above them then descend into them from above to score a point.
        Shooting
        Fly into ammo to pick up 2 rounds of missiles, which will fire automatically.
        If you pick up both ammo then you will have 4 rounds.
        Your helicopter automatically shoots in the direction & angle you are facing.
        If you have rounds left when you get to the right edge of the screen then you will shoot those shortly after wrapping around to the left side of the screen.
        Scoring
        Each time your opponent crashes into the ground or ceiling, crashes into you while being underneath you vertically, or is shot down you score a point.
        Each time you crash into the ground or ceiling, crash into your opponent while being below them, or are shot down your opponent scores a point.
        First player to 10 points wins.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple flying games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
