How to Play

Play SpongeBob SquarePants Tracks Of Terror for free. SpongeBob SquarePants Tracks Of Terror is a fun rollercoaster game where you can play a couple different coasters or lay down a custom track build of your own. Watch out for obstacles, avoid the ghosts and see how long you can survive.

Starting the Game

Click anywhere on the title screen to start the game. The welcome screen also has a sound control button in the upper right corner.
Select a course:
- Choose The Flying Dutchman’s Ship, SpongeBob’s Imagination, or use the Coaster Creator to make your own custom roller coaster.
- Click to begin.
- Game Controls
  - The game is controlled using the left mouse button.
  - Click the pause button to see the game menu:
    - Help button = how to play.
    - Achievements = challenges you’ve completed.
    - Speaker = toggle sound on and off.
    - X = restart game
    - Game Play
      - The game begins at the start of the rollercoaster.
      - As you traverse the track, your character will confront obstacles, including ghosts, boxes, flags and more.
      - Just before you hit an obstacle, click the left mouse button. Your character will be briefly cocooned in the car. This protects you from the obstacle.
      - If you’re not covered and you hit the obstacle, you will lose a life.
      - If you hit the obstacle whilst covered, you will earn points.
      - The challenge lays in covering your character when there are multiple obstacles in your path. Your protective covering doesn’t last long, so you need to left-click again to activate it.
      - Audience
        The game is suitable for kids of all ages.
        Older kids may get board with the regular play mode quickly as there are only two tracks, though players can express their creativity by making a custom track design of their own.
        There are no adult themes.
